Hello. I am Stephanie C. Conkle. I am an award-winning Board Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Certified Hypnosis Instructor, NLP Master Practitioner, and Success Coach. I help people quickly and successfully achieve emotional health and self-excellence goals in easy, fun, and amazing ways by utilizing the powerful Subconscious mind–which is my area of superior expertise.

I have been fascinated by the brain and how it works for years, and I really love working with people to help them in so many ways, from getting them to unlock their creative minds, overcoming fears and phobias, weight loss, to smoking cessation–you name it! I know how to tap into the subconscious and unconscious part of the mind to be able to interrupt and reprogram patterns and behaviors by utilizing Hypnosis, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique).

I was trained by the best hypnotists and clinical hypnotherapists in the country. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University. I am certified for hypnosis through The School of Hypnosis which meets the International Association of Counselors and Therapist (IACT) guidelines. My advanced clinical hypnotherapy training is through the International Certification Board of Clinical Hypnotherapy (ICBCH).  I am also fully certified through my mentor, Roy Hunter, to teach a client-centered approach to hypnotherapy. I also hold certifications in Sexual Freedom Hypnosis (for psycho-sexual dysfunctions), Past Life Regression hypnotherapy, and teach my own method of deep trance hypnosis, worldwide, called the PSP (Profound Somnambulism Protocol) <–I’m kind of famous for this…just sayin’ ;)

I am a member in good standing of the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH) and follow their Code of Ethics. To remain in good standing, I must complete continuing education hours annually and have my work reviewed by the NGH board. I am also a certified member in good standing of the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association (IMDHA), the International Certification Board of Clinical Hypnotherapy (ICBCH), the International Hypnosis Federation (IHF), and the American Alliance of Hypnotists (AAH).

My specialty is in helping people shift out of their negative habits, unwanted behaviors, anxiety, fears, and phobias without having to use so-called “will power,” so you can live a long and healthy life. This happens very easily through hypnosis. By tapping into your powerful subconscious mind, I can help you to stop smoking, lose weight, have more confidence, eliminate cravings, etc.

There is more and more scientific proof of just how powerful your mind really is.  Through the use of hypnosis, we have the power to harness that energy and re-pattern your brain’s neurons to allow it to really flourish in healthy creative ways. I do all the heavy lifting so all you have to do is simply relax and go on a mental vacation, while I work with the deepest part of you to make quick and lasting positive changes. I am confident you will notice immediate results as you will feel absolutely fantastic the moment you hear my voice.

How long have you been in hypnosis?

I have been interested in hypnosis since childhood when my dad would experiment with hypnosis on me (after he was healed from symptoms of chronic insomnia), and from seeing hypnotists on television shows and cartoons. I was told by some people with “authority” and the Church (I was brought up in the South) that it was evil and should not be used, so I became irrationally afraid of it in my teenage years when it should have been the most fun…until I was reintroduced to hypnotism in college by a stage hypnotist.

Hypnosis found me. Not the other way around! I was searching for a purpose for my life and, as soon as I sent that intention out into the universe, hypnotism came a-knockin’ on my door…and when I least expected it. My career in hypnotism began when I wanted to use hypnosis for my own self-development and peace of mind. I suddenly began experiencing a terrible fear of flying after my first child was born, had suffered from OCD since childhood, had mild depression, and mental blocks to success.

After I was finally convinced hypnosis can only be used for good, and that I could accept or reject any commands given in trance, I began using hypnosis to treat not just my symptoms…but the root cause of my problems. Because hypnosis resulted in such great and amazing benefits for me, I began studying hypnotism because I wanted to learn the power behind it to one day help others.

However, it was only a hobby for me for many years after that. I knew how to do street hypnosis (party tricks like getting people stuck to the wall with only their mind), but I wanted to go deeper and really help people who were hurting or struggling with issues like I had been.

Eventually, I became frustrated with my uninspired corporate job and decided to change careers to something that would be beneficial and rewarding to both myself and others. I set the intention for the perfect vocation for me for my life’s journey and waited for the response. I started out life coaching others and thought hypnosis would really be beneficial to them, but I needed to learn it in depth.

I knew hypnosis was something I could do and enjoy for the rest of my life…and something other people really needed. I knew I wanted to help others succeed in life–not just myself! I enrolled in hypnosis school and found out that I already knew a lot about hypnotism from all the self-studying I had done earlier. And I found it came naturally to me once I started practicing on people. My life coaching practice transformed into a hypnotherapy practice very soon after that. I began seeing my first paying hypnosis clients at home in my own living room! From there, I quickly opened my own hypnotherapy and success coaching practice in Alpharetta (now Milton) in 2008, and then eventually moved to Woodstock to be closer to home. I get just as much pleasure from it as my clients do.

I am now developing products for my website, speaking about hypnosis at conferences, teaching hypnosis courses, and writing self-help books. I am expanding every day which is always full of renewed hope, joy, and prosperity. I am continually learning and furthering my education every year as my business continues to grow and expand. Now that I have found my bliss and peace of mind…my greatest desire is to help you find yours!”
